Dryad 3 Part 1+2+3
Hello ladies and gents , nice to see you here . I promised a step by step help for the Dryad number three, here it is . If you have questions ask me :) This is part one so have fun with collecting the material :)
Part 2 and 3 is now below too :) I promised you that it will be ready today but its not , because i had not enough time to let it dry , so the last peaces on the left corner and a few birds will become later .
At this moment this is the result from my "Devil dryad "...
1. Canvas 30cm / 30 cm
2. stencils
3. texture paste
4. gesso
5. Spray play with your colours , only red and black are necessary for the dept)
6 .heatgun
7 .gluegun
8. dry branches
9 .Barbie doll
10.peace of a old curtain ( for the dress )
11.old toys
12.little butterflys
13. Viva Inka gold in different colours (fot the finish touch )
Make a background with the stencils just as in the
woods and dry it .
Put everything in gesso and then play with your
colours , spray as long as you like and when you are seatisfied dry it .
Now stick the branches flat together with the barbie doll , put this in gesso too and colour it in
your own taste.
Now paste the whole on the canvas and use some more branches
to let it look like a wood.
In Dryad 1 an 2 i used some cheesecloth for the fairy look and a little peace from a old curtain for the
dress. ( you don't need it if you have "Ken ")
Part 2
Stencil the background and colour it
create new feets
Paste it all together
Use your gluegun to create new muscles
colour everything and after that put a little bit gesso on it again
Paste it on your canvas and use than eveything you had at home .I used some old toys from my children , some butterflys , a old walnut i found in a second hand shop , some little peaces from potpourri and so go on.
Part 3
Still WIP ...
